Here is a new hotel trend that you might not know of—homeware hotels. This is a type of boutique hotel that lets you buy anything inside it! This means that you can buy any furniture you find inside the hotel. So, if you find a chair or a painting that you like, you can get one for your house right away. 1. Muji Hotel

Muji is known with their minimalist style, so expect a gorgeous neutral-coloured interior inspired by wood, stone and earth. The furniture can be purchased from Muji, like the beds that they have ensured to restore the energy and spirit of any traveller staying there. The hotels are currently available in China and Japan. They offer up to 9 different room styles at a different price point.

2. The Boathouse

Another break from conventional hotel accommodation is the Boathouse London, a boutique hotel created with Made.com as the partner. Just like the name suggests, the hotel uses a boat as the main design. Inside, you can see the interior is filled with woods just like the style of Made.com. The hotel is quite small but still feels spacious and chic at the same time.

3. The Vipp Hotel

The Vipp Hotel is located in Copenhagen, Denmark. The motto of this hotel is to offer you unique experience simply by staying in one of their limited rooms. There are three locations of Vipp Hotel in total, with each only having one bedroom inside. The company Vipp is specialising in kitchen design, so the hotel lets you try out their kitchenware. 4. Soho Home by Soho House & Co

Soho Home lets you purchase the furniture, tableware, accessories, textiles to limited edition prints and vintage finds that you find inside the hotel. The hotels are located in the US, UK and Spain. This hotel is a part of Soho House & Co membership club that lets you travel the world and enjoy the perks everywhere, from clubs, restaurants, workspace, spas, cinemas and of course, the hotels.

5. West Elm Hotel

This hotel is still a concept that will be launched in 2020 in the US. The hotel is under the same brand portfolio as Pottery Barn, a furnishing store chain for homes. So, you can try out this furniture as well while staying in West Elm Hotel.

This trend is starting to rise in the US and Europe and hopefully will extend to Asia. The concept is quite new, providing you with a different experience than traditional hotels.
